Gajum Spring & Segrino Lake

Lake Segrino is a small pre-Alpine lake located between the municipalities of Canzo, Longone al Segrino and Eupilio. It is located in a valley between the mountains of Cornizzolo and Scioscia, in the Larian triangle. Due to its underground springs, Lake Segrino is considered the cleanest lake in Europe.

Water lilies, reeds, black alders, willows and poplars characterize the vegetation and there are over 100 species of birds, including the mallard, the gray heron, the kingfisher and the green woodpecker. Lago del Segrino is a great place to relax on a sunny day.
